Original product description:

The Honda original shifter is an accessory that replaces your Africa Twin shift rod, allowing you to change gears without cutting the throttle or using the clutch. It works both upshifting and downshifting (up & down). This provides excellent riding comfort and enhances the overall performance of your CRF1000 or CRF1100.

Attention: compatible with Africa Twin models before 2022 only. See 08U70-MLG-E00 for newer models.

Requires the Honda SCS short circuit connector 070PZ-ZY30100 for installation.

Description
Product Details

The shifter installation is very easy; simply replace the shift rod and connect the designated plug on the motorcycle. Once activated, when you operate the shifter, it will cut the ignition for a few milliseconds, allowing you to shift gears on the fly without closing the throttle. During downshifting, a slight throttle blip enables you to engage the lower gear without using the clutch.

Note that the cut-off timing adjusts according to the engine RPM, allowing use even at low revs.
